Since 2000, I have served as the Founding Artistic Director of Son of Semele Ensemble (SOSE), a theatre company for which I have produced over 20 productions in Los Angeles.
Our work has garnered multiple regional theatre awards including the Ovation Award, the LA Weekly Award and the NAACP Theatre Award. With support from Los Angeles County, the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs, friends and family, we opened our own small studio theatre in Silver Lake, California, in 2003. In December 2004, SOSE was profiled by American Theatre as one of the "hot, hip and on-the-verge" theatre ensembles to look out for.

My production of Iphigenia... A Rave Fable was nominated for six 2007 LA Weekly Awards. It received awards in four categories including Lighting, Masks, Puppets and Multi-Media/Projections.
